Now Hiring: Substance Abuse Counselor (CAC) – Virtual IOP Addiction Treatment Center
Caring Hearts Behavioral Center is actively seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) to join our growing team of behavioral health professionals. We provide evidence-based Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services to individuals throughout Florida who are seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a flexible telehealth addiction treatment environment. We are currently hiring Per Diem, Part-Time, and Full-Time counselors.
Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate virtual IOP group therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms.
- Provide individual substance abuse counseling and recovery support.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor treatment progress.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary clinical team to provide exceptional client care.
- Educate clients on relapse prevention, coping skills, and long-term recovery strategies.
- Help individuals build healthy lifestyles while supporting lasting sobriety.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) credential required.
- Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or addiction recovery.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and ethical clinical practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Experience facilitating virtual or telehealth counseling is preferred but not required.
- Passion for helping individuals achieve lasting recovery.
