Position Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and psychiatric assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans for clients with substance use disorders.
Prescribe and manage medications, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), when appropriate.
Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical needs.
Collaborate with counselors, therapists, case managers, and medical staff to provide integrated care.
Educate patients and families about addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and overall wellness.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant medical documentation.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold best practices in addiction medicine.
Qualifications
Current Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license in good standing.
DEA registration and prescribing authority.
Experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, psychiatry, or substance abuse treatment preferred.
Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and evidence-based addiction treatment practices is highly desirable.
Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and patient care skills.

Caring Hearts Behavioral Center is actively seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) to join our growing team of behavioral health professionals. We provide evidence-based Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services to individuals throughout Florida who are seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Position Responsibilities
Facilitate virtual IOP group therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms.

Marketing Director – Addiction Treatment & Behavioral Health
Full-Time | On-Site | Leadership Position
Caring Hearts Behavioral Center is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Marketing Director to lead the marketing and business-development department for their brand-new IOP addiction treatment and behavioral health center in Palm Springs, Florida.
This is a ground-floor opportunity for the right professional. The Marketing Director will have the opportunity to build the department from the beginning, establish the center’s presence throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida, develop strategic referral relationships, create marketing systems, and play a major role in building the program’s census and reputation.
They are looking for someone who understands that marketing an addiction treatment center is different from traditional business marketing. The ideal candidate already has strong relationships and referral sources within the addiction treatment, behavioral health, healthcare, and community-services industries and can demonstrate an established professional network capable of generating qualified client referrals.
Key Responsibilities
Referral Development & Business Development
Build, develop, and maintain a strong network of legitimate professional referral sources.
Maintain existing relationships with addiction treatment professionals, therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, hospitals, detox centers, residential treatment centers, sober living programs, IOP/PHP programs, case managers, social workers, discharge planners, employee assistance programs, insurance professionals, and other appropriate referral partners.
Establish relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, medical practices, mental health providers, community organizations, universities, employers, attorneys, employee assistance programs, and other organizations that may appropriately connect individuals with behavioral health and addiction treatment services.
Conduct regular face-to-face outreach and follow-up with referral partners.
Schedule presentations, lunches, educational meetings, networking events, community events, and professional outreach activities.
Educate referral sources about Caring Hearts Behavioral Center’s IOP and behavioral health services, admission criteria, insurance options, clinical approach, and available levels of care.
Create a systematic referral-development program rather than relying solely on advertising or incoming phone calls.
Maintain detailed records of referral sources, contacts, meetings, referrals, admissions, and outcomes.
Existing Referral Network Required
Candidates must have prior experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health marketing and an established network of professional referral sources.
This is not an entry-level marketing position. They are looking for a Marketing Director who can bring industry knowledge, relationships, initiative, and proven outreach experience to a new treatment center.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate how their existing professional relationships and outreach strategy can help generate appropriate inquiries and referrals for the program.
Digital Marketing & Brand Development
The Marketing Director will oversee the development of Caring Hearts Behavioral Center’s overall marketing strategy, including:
Boots on the ground efforts
Local networking and community visibility.
Community awareness campaigns.
Networking to establish referral relationships.
Digital advertising coordination.
Marketing materials and presentations.
Video and educational content.
Tracking marketing leads from initial inquiry through admission.
The Marketing Director will work with outside marketing, SEO, advertising, and creative professionals when appropriate while maintaining responsibility for the overall marketing strategy and performance.
Census & Lead Generation
The Marketing Director will work closely with admissions and clinical leadership to develop a consistent, ethical pipeline of appropriate prospective clients.
Responsibilities include:
Developing monthly and quarterly marketing plans.
Establishing measurable outreach goals.
Monitoring inquiries and referral activity.
Tracking referral sources and conversion rates.
Analyzing admissions and referral data.
Developing strategies to increase qualified admissions.
Identifying underserved markets and new referral opportunities.
Maintaining consistent communication with referral partners.
Reporting marketing performance to CEO.
The goal is to create a sustainable referral and marketing system that supports the long-term growth of the center rather than relying on short-term advertising alone.
Community Outreach
The Marketing Director will become a visible representative of Caring Hearts Behavioral Center throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding communities.
This includes:
Attending professional networking events.
Building relationships with local healthcare professionals.
Participating in behavioral health and addiction conferences.
Developing community education opportunities.
Representing Caring Hearts at professional events.
Developing partnerships with community organizations.
Creating educational presentations about addiction, behavioral health, recovery, and available treatment services.
Increasing awareness of the center’s IOP and behavioral health programs.
Compliance & Ethical Marketing
Because Caring Hearts Behavioral Center provides healthcare and addiction treatment services, all marketing and outreach must be conducted ethically and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, payer requirements, privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
The Marketing Director must understand the importance of:
HIPAA and patient privacy.
Ethical referral practices.
Truthful advertising.
Accurate representation of clinical services.
Appropriate use of patient testimonials and reviews.
Appropriate handling of prospective-client information.
Compliance with applicable healthcare marketing requirements.
Avoiding improper referral arrangements or financial incentives for patient referrals.
Referral development must be based on professional relationships, education, trust, and appropriate patient placement—not improper patient brokering or payment-for-referral arrangements. This distinction is particularly important in addiction treatment marketing.
Qualifications
Proven marketing, outreach, business-development, or admissions experience in an addiction treatment center, behavioral health organization, healthcare organization, or related field.
Existing professional referral relationships within the addiction treatment and/or behavioral health community.
Demonstrated ability to generate qualified referrals through professional outreach.
Strong understanding of the addiction treatment continuum of care.
Experience working with referral sources and healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
Ability to work independently and build a department from the ground up.
Professional presentation and networking skills.
Ability to develop and execute a measurable marketing plan.
Willingness to conduct substantial local outreach and relationship development.
Preferred:
Experience marketing an IOP, PHP, detox, residential treatment program, outpatient behavioral health program, or dual-diagnosis program.
Knowledge of Palm Beach County and the South Florida behavioral health market.
Experience with Google Business Profile, SEO, digital marketing, social media, email marketing, CRM systems, call tracking, and analytics.
Experience developing professional education and community outreach programs.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred, although substantial industry experience may be considered in place of a degree.
